Living Mixtape Presents
What actually happens, from your first message to your first night — and what makes it different from booking a band.
No cost to the venue
What makes it different
At a Living Mixtape night the room runs the setlist from their phones — requesting the songs they want to hear, tipping for their favorites, watching their pick come up next. The artist reads the room and plays it.
It changes what the night feels like. Not a band playing at people who happen to be eating — a room playing along. That's the difference between "there's music tonight" and "we have to be there."
And nobody's on their phone to escape the night. They're on their phone because they're in it.
The built-in audience
This is the part venues don't expect. Every Living Mixtape artist has a direct line to their own fans — a weekly message about the shows they have coming up, with your venue named in it. Not a flyer you paid to print: a message landing on the phones of people who already come out to see that artist play.
Sending it is the artist's call, not ours — but an artist who wants a full room makes it. So the night needn't lean on your regulars alone; it can arrive with the artist's crowd too.
Start to finish
The form at the bottom takes about two minutes — where you are, what kind of room it is, which nights you're thinking about. A real person reads every one. There's no obligation and nothing to sign.
We'll get in touch to hear what your nights actually look like — the crowd you get, what's worked before, what hasn't. This is a conversation, not a pitch call. If a Living Mixtape night isn't right for your venue, we'll say so.
Not whoever's free — someone who plays your area, suits your room, and has earned their place on the roster. Every artist is vetted. You can look through the roster yourself any time and tell us who catches your eye.
A professional who shows up on time and knows how to work a room. They bring the show. You don't become a booker, a promoter, or a sound engineer — that's the whole point.
From the first song the room is requesting, tipping, and watching their picks come up. The artist reads it and plays it. What you get is a night with real energy in it — and an engaged room is a room that stays, orders another round, and stays for the kitchen.
Rotating vetted acts so it never goes stale, and a night on your calendar you can promote. Easy to start, easy to keep going.

Where we stand
We'll never send you an act who isn't ready — the roster exists so you're booking a sure thing, and our name is on it too. We'll never take your guests' information; the people who come to a show belong to the night and to the artist, not to a list we sell. And we'll never pretend a live night is a guarantee. What we promise is a professional who shows up ready, and a room with a reason to stay.
What we can show you
Johnny Chase is a Living Mixtape co-founder. His first-year results are his own — not a platform average, and not a promise of what any particular venue will see. Everything else on this page is what we see at live shows.
Tell us about your venue — we'll take it from there.
